Spiritual Life
At OLG, the Catholic faith shapes our every day! Not only do we teach our students about Catholic values and theology; we show them how to live out those values in their daily lives.
Education
At OLG, students receive a solid foundation in Catholic theology. During the school day, each student receives a full period of religion class. In this class, students learn about God, faith, the power of prayer, and the purpose of their lives. Students are taught the Catechism of the Catholic Church, which provides them with a crucial foundation to understanding the Catholic faith.
Sacraments
In 2nd grade, OLG students have the opportunity to participate in sacramental preparation for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.
Each spring, our 8th graders participate in confirmation.
Students who would like to become Catholic receive additional instruction and are able to participate in the Sacraments.
Living It Out!
We don't just learn about our faith; we live it out! We begin each day with all-school prayer, and students receive instructions from teachers who provide excellent examples of faith lived out in daily life.
We believe service is a crucial part of living our faith! Each year, OLG students participate in all-school service opportunities.
